Kids Weight
Converter
is an
"easy to use" app that
allows the user to convert from pounds /
ounces to either grams or kilograms and
vice versa.
In pediatrics we always covert to
kilogram weight, as most children's medications
are dosed based on their body weight.
Also, this is a useful tool in the
newborn nursery as most EMR fields require
weight input in grams even though we still track
an infant's weight in pounds and ounces.
